- Planned for and moved an eCommerce site from one platform to another woth no interruption in sales or operations.

BiiN (Intel|Siemens joint venture) (client/employer)
- Lead writer BiiN System Adminstrator's Guide for a UNIX-like OS.
- Documented UUCP with both a user and an administrator module. Wrote manpages for the curses libraries.
- Oversaw the conversion of a large documentation library from .troff to scribe markup language with automated scripts using grep, egrep, and Perl. Project completed ahead of schedule.
Black Dog Farm Alpacas and Black Steel Miniature Schnauzers
- Founder and owner Black Dog Farm Alpacas. Bred, showed and marketed award winning alpaca stock.
- Saw an opportunity to create a new market in grey animals and fleeces. Used understanding of genetics and the inheritance of coat colors in other species to design a successful breeding program for consistent production of grey coated animals.
- Bred and showed Bouvier des Flandres and Miniature Schnauzers. Directed the show career of Ch. Black Steel's Boy Scientist to #4 male and #6 over all Miniature Schnauzer in the USA and Canada. Bred, raised, and placed many happy pet dogs.
- Oversaw day-to-day operations of a 20 acre livestock and timber farm. Including responsibility for budgets, taxes, regulatory compliance, suppliers, and husbandry and breeding records.
- Acted as General Contractor for the design and building of a 3000 sq ft. timber frame home including direction of subcontractors and design of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems compatible with a timber frame structure.
Other Activities and Interests
- Wrote short stories, a collection of myths, poetry and a novel. Participated in poetry readings at local cafes and coffee shops.
- Helped design and build a very custom sidecar rig.
